Kitchen taps became a crucial design component in the final appearance of your new kitchen. If you’re building brand spanking new or doing a reworking project you will wish to at least consider if a new kitchen tap is suitable for you. There are a selection of styles available today.

Doubtless my fave “new” type that is becoming extremely popular in upscale houses is the pot filler. For people that have massive stove top areas and do lots of cooking, it is not always simple to hold a heavy pot of water from your kitchen sinks across the room to your stove. You should have a very convenient bar faucets usually for undermount stainless sinks. To resolve that problem some genius invented the pot filler tap that is installed over your stove and range area.

It’s complete purpose is to fill pots on the stove with water so you do not have to hold it across the cooking space. In our kitchen we’ve a single handle with side spray pull out. It is not one of the high arching taps, I learned the taller ones can take a bit for hot water to come thru and whilst their height can be useful for filling pots and buckets the slow water movement thru them can be inconvenient. I like the side spray pull out, when it’s being used the water instantly stops running thru the main tap and instead is routed entirely thru the sprayer. These are superb for cleaning the far corners of your sink, and for filling boxes that don’t fit within the sink itself. They do not fill as fast as the regular tap but they supply incredible additional reach.
